The Financial Analyst provides support to Bell program management, IPT Team Leaders and other team members in relation to Earned Value Management \(EVM\) and Financial Reporting\.
What you'll be doing as a Financial Analyst:
Analyze monthly financial data and support and prepare quarterly financial program reviews \(include explaining changes to Price, EACs, R&Os\)\.Explain financial variances to plan or prior forecast\.Prepare weekly updates to forecast data and identify risk and opportunity items\.Support and respond to internal and external audit reviews\.Ensure integration and synchronization of cost and schedule EVM data\.Monitor, analyze, and report the earned value of program accomplishments\.Develop, explain, review and track schedules to facilitate program execution\.Work closely with other functional organizations, as required\.Operate within the guidelines of all corporate and government regulations\.Ensure all EVMS reporting requirements for assigned contracts comply with CDRL \(IPMR, IPMDAR, CFSR, etc\)\.
Qualifications
Skills You Bring To this Role:
Strong analytical skills\.Ability to analyze and solve unstructured problems, and demonstrate initiative in making process improvements\.Excellent cost analysis, schedule analysis or cost accounting skills are preferred\.Must have strong computer skills, including Windows and Microsoft Office\.Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills\.Must be a self\-starter and able to work well in fast\-paced, deadline\-driven environment\.
What you need to be successful:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Project Management, or other similar discipline is required\.2 years related experience in Finance/Accounting, EVMS \(Earned Value Management System\), and/or Program Management\.Experience with Primavera P6 \(or similar project management/scheduling\) software is preferred\.
