    The role you will contribute:

    The UX Engineer-Intermediate, under the direction of the Business Analytics and Data Mining Manager, will be mainly responsible for the creation of UX CoE, UX design Best practices, Style Guides, UI, Prototypes, Use Cases, Reports, visualizations, and other forms of information designed to gain insights, monitor key organizational measures. The Developer will conceive, design and develop the user experience strategy, Prototypes for BI teams. The position needs a visually articulate developer capable of communicating their ideas through compelling high-fidelity illustrations, frameworks and prototypes. Critical eye for attention to detail and pixel perfection Capable of rendering high fidelity layouts and icons Willing to deep dive into development and assist other developers as needed Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment Excellent collaboration skills Ability to deliver high quality work on tight schedules Willing to learn new skills on the job Document UX specifications, design and standards Establish and maintain security and integrity controls Experience with the following technologies: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery Experience with agile development principles Experience etc. The core responsibility for this role is to build a rich, engaging and consistent experience for the business across all BI solutions. This includes conceiving, developing and prototyping new visualizations and interactions for various BI developed solutions, then working with worldwide and regional teams to finalize designs, documenting solutions and participating in their implementation. We are looking for a great teammate with hands-on Frontend development, Crisp communication, negotiation and presentation skills. Assist in requirement gathering sessions for QlikView applications by building in Prototypes and wireframes. Collaborate with Technical Architects, Cross-functional teams and developers to build analytics for operational use and other business solutions. This position requires the ability to work effectively with business owners, clinical staff, and other IT teams.

    PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    •Coordinates with other developers on the team to build and share knowledge, ensuring consistent delivery of information •Understand and analyze the needs of the users and formulate concept and design ideas for web applications and online projects, especially regarding user interface and experience. Create deliverables that help facilitate collaboration and communication between business, design and engineering •Collaborates with application analysts and report/dashboard end users to analyze, provides specifications, and document projects in SharePoint •Designs and develops the front-end apps as per business requirements •UX developers present web design plans and UI layout ideas to clients. •Documents and tests work products and conduct data quality checks on a regular basis •Works in partnership with the Data Warehouse team and other stakeholders concerning the accuracy of data and efficiency of processes •Analyzes the feasibility of, and develop requirements for, new application and enhancements to existing applications; ensures the application fits the needs of users •Provides analytics and business solutions that support business functions securely ESSENTIAL

    COMPETENCIES, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    •Participates in requirements analysis and verification through peer reviews and inspections of requirements document, ensuring that requirement statements are complete, consistent, concise comprehensible, traceable, feasible, unambiguous, verifiable, and that they conform to standards. •Collaborates with team leads in requirements elicitation, Prototyping and •Ability to design and draw business process models, and flowcharts based on business analysis. •Serve as a subject-matter expert on business functionality and impact of system change in collaboration with developers to recommend an optimal solution that meets or exceeds the business needs and requirements. •Accountable for ensuring completion of assigned tasks according to contract specifications and that completed tasks meet client and budget requirements. •Assist with analysis and testing tasks, if needed. •Assure timely and high-quality contract deliverables and be accountable for the development and adherence to project time and task schedules for assigned projects. •Troubleshoot with other technical or functional departments on project activities when necessary. •Maintain flexibility to assist and support all department activities as necessary. Keep abreast of changes in analysis and testing techniques and database development technology and communicate this information to peers and others within the organization. •Bachelor's degree, or demonstrated experience, in health care, computer science, public health, management/business administration, or other related field. •3 years of UX analysis experience with Usability studies •Healthcare information systems and translating that information into usable documentation and management tools preferred

    The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

    Bachelors and 3 plus years experience Healthcare Informatics or similar fields

    Associate's with 5 plus years of Experience, Healthcare Informatics or similar fields

    •3 plus years experience in developing Front-end apps, testing and implementation of reports and dashboards (QlikView or any BI report & dashboard tool)

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 5 years applied experience in user experience design of Front-End Apps •Demonstrable understanding of visual and user experience design disciplines and principles

    •2-5 years in applying user experience design principles to data and information visualization in the business

    •Familiarity with various BI reporting, analytics & visualization products such as Qlikview, Business Objects, OBIEE, Tableau, etc

    •Master's Degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics or similar fields

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

    •Excellent Documentation and communication skills with ability to create presentations quickly for leadership extracting data from multiple internal systems/teams

    •User Experience focused individual with exposure to prototyping tools like Axure, Figma, Adobe iRise etc.

    •QlikView/QlikSense or equivalent BI reporting tool Business Analysis experience •MS Excel and/or Access (i.e. VBA) expertise

    •Troubleshoots scripting logic when issues arise

    •Experience in handling large volume of data

    •Working knowledge of clinical processes and terminology

    •Self-motivated, independent and goal-oriented, a fast learner with good communication skills

    •Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe XD, Photoshop and Illustrator in particular or equivalent)

    •Wireframing & Protoyping tools – Axure, Balsamiq, Figma etc.

    •Front End Development using React.js/Node.js or equivalent

    •HTML, CSS & JS •Python •Qlikview/QlikSense •SQL •Microsoft Visio, Teams, Flow •Agile - Scrum Methodology experience

    •Experience in testing and implementation of reports and dashboards (QlikView or any BI report tool)

    •Familiarity with analytics

    •Knowledgeable about current government healthcare initiatives

    •Cerner experience

    • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Knowledge of business analysis and requirements elicitation process.

    • Knowledge of application development process, testing, and quality assurance. • Work experience with SharePoint implementation and support.

    • Knowledge of Python & Visual Design Best Practices.
