Principal Solutions Architect
The Principal Solution Architect is responsible for solution development, demonstration, detailed discovery, and technical in the Pre-Sales activities of the Digital Solutions (DS) sales process. The Digital Solutions - Solution Architect is responsible for the Technical and Pre-Sales activities to assist in achieving revenue growth within DS operations.
Responsibilities:
+ Contributes Technical knowledge and expertise to assist Sales Teams for the DS service line, maintaining a presence with customers, and developing / participating in customized demonstrations, detailed discovery, business process analysis, Technical project management, and development of large RFPs.
+ Flawless integration with the Sales and Marketing team by developing and demonstrating profitable DS solutions.
+ Responsible for the assisting in the Technical and Pre- Sales activities in the DS sales process to help achieve revenue growth.
+ Develops solutions for the configuration and pricing of profitable DS proposals and contracts.
+ Provide Technical subject matter expertise to help close DS opportunities
+ Interacts with external vendors to develop and leverage relationships to build creative solutions and improve service delivery capabilities.
+ Partners with Iron Mountain internal Global DS Sales and Delivery resources to develop and leverage best practices and capabilities
+ Maintains consistent, timely, and high quality management reporting requirements as outlined by the DS Technical and Pre-Sales Manager
Key Skills, Requirements and Competencies:
+ Bachelor’s Degree – Business / Technical preferred
+ 3-5 years of Technical and Pre-Sales experience
+ Knowledge of Electronic Content Management solutions (preferably OnBase)
+ Prefer pre-sales experience in service or outsourcing industry
+ CRM usage and computer proficiency a benefit
+ Ability to travel (locally/regionally) at least 50%+ Preferred: Strong knowledge of the eDM, ECM, and BPM market sectors
+ Ability to work with technology and sales partners
+ Ability to interact with customer prospects to developing rapport and strong relationships with the customer decision makers
+ Extensive successful Technical and Pre-Sales experience. Proven track record of assisting sales force to substantially growing revenue.
+ Experience in crafting, demonstrating, pricing, and knowledge of delivery of Digital Solutions Management Solutions (preferably OnBase by Hyland Software).
+ Experience in detailed discovery and business process analysis
+ Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
+ Customer Centric
+ Experience in developing, pricing, and demonstrating scanning, OCR, ICR, and Document Management ECM solutions
+ Experience in developing and demonstrating IGDS Service offerings
+ Experience in Records Management and Compliance solutions preferred
+ Strong written and verbal communications skills with the ability to clearly express a business solution
+ Strong problem solving abilities with the ability to clearly understand a client’s business problems and create and demonstrate solutions to those problems.
+ Strong impact and Influence skills
+ Analytical and financial fluency
+ Presentations and verbal communications to diverse groups
+ Word, Power Point, Excel & Outlook proficiency
