DUTIES :
This position is responsible to perform activities related to designing and teaching undergraduate college-level financial literacy and planning courses in the Management Department at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy.
This position requires a Certified Financial Planner designation. This position must be able to address issues in a timely manner demonstrating excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Works independently, leads projects and collaborates with team members. Uses superior communication skills, both verbal and written.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED :
Minimum :
+ Master’s Degree in Business Administration or a closely related field
+ Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Certification
+ At least one year of teaching experience
Preferred (in addition to the minimum):
+ AACSB accredited degree
+ College-level teaching experience
+ 5 years financial field work experience
+ Experience with Process-Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning (POGIL)
