Job Description

Join Teledyne Imaging Sensors as a Jr. Machinist!

Are you ready to launch your career to the next level? Join our mission-focused team, where we value technical excellence, collaboration, and agility. We’re the world’s leading provider of infrared sensors for space, with customers like NASA, ESA, and the US Department of Defense.

What You’ll Do:

+ Assist Sr. Machinists in assignment planning, layout, setup, operation, and tool adjustments of various types of equipment.

+ Review and verify dimensions and tolerances in drawings to determine best setup and work operation sequences.

+ Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, or materials onto machines.

+ Identify and repair minor machine malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjusts machine controls as required.

+ Supports the shop in aspects of material sourcing, kitting, organizing and other shop logistics.

What You Need:

+ Ability to use shop mathematics, drawings and measuring tools.

+ Excellent communication and decision-making skills.

+ Basic Knowledge of ISO and/or AS9100.

+ High school diploma and 3-5 years of experience, or Associate's Degree and 0-3 years of experience in a machine shop.

+ U.S. citizenship due to access restrictions.

Salary Range:

$37,200.00-$49,600.000
