Are you the kind of person who gets excited about building the future of software development? Do you love creating tools that make other developers' lives easier? Are you fascinated by how GenAI is revolutionizing the way we write code? The Amazon Music Customer eXperience Infrastructure (CXI) team is seeking an entrepreneurial Senior Product Manager, Technical to own and drive our Multi-Modal Experience Framework – a startup-like initiative within Amazon Music that's redefining how we build cross-platform applications.
If you're someone who thrives on rapid iteration, loves seeing immediate impact, and gets energized by the challenge of building something from the ground up, this role is for you. We're looking for a product leader who can think big while executing fast, someone who can take the insights we've gained from GenAI-powered development and transform them into a framework that makes every developer more productive.
Key job responsibilities
Think of this role as being the CEO of a startup within Amazon Music. You'll own the entire product lifecycle of this developer framework, from vision to execution. You'll work with a small, agile team that's already proven they can build major application surfaces in weeks rather than months. Your mission? Scale this success across Amazon Music and beyond.
You'll need to:
* Be the voice of developers, understanding their pain points and translating them into framework capabilities
* Drive the integration of GenAI tools and practices into our development workflow
* Balance the startup mentality of "move fast" with enterprise-grade reliability and performance
* Champion web-first, responsive design principles while maintaining native-quality experiences
* Build and evangelize a framework that developers actually want to use
* Create a roadmap that excites both engineers and business stakeholders
* Make data-driven decisions about framework features and capabilities
This isn't your typical product management role – you'll be working at the intersection of developer experience, artificial intelligence, and cross-platform development. You'll have the autonomy to experiment and iterate quickly, with the resources and reach of Amazon behind you.
A day in the life
Start your day brainstorming with your team about how to integrate the latest GenAI capabilities into the framework. Jump into a quick demo of a new feature that lets developers generate component code 5x faster than before. Over lunch, sketch out ideas for the next big framework capability with your tech lead. In the afternoon, meet with early adopter teams to gather feedback and iterate on the developer experience. End your day reviewing metrics that show how this effort is accelerating development across the organization. The best part? You're building something that could fundamentally change how Amazon builds software.
