Description We are looking for a highly skilled Staff Accountant to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. This long-term contract position offers a dynamic opportunity to contribute to critical accounting processes, including month-end close and financial reconciliations. The role primarily focuses on maintaining accuracy in financial data while utilizing advanced accounting systems and tools to support organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate financial records.

• Reconcile bank accounts and other financial statements to identify and resolve discrepancies.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.

• Perform month-end close tasks, including account analysis and reporting.

• Maintain the general ledger and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

• Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to perform essential functions.

• Collaborate with team members to review financial data and support audits.

• Develop and implement financial controls to enhance data accuracy and integrity.

• Provide detailed financial reports and analyses to assist in strategic decision-making.

• Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting roles, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.

• Proficiency in accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP.

• Strong knowledge of general ledger maintenance and journal entry preparation.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.

• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Solid understanding of month-end close processes and financial reporting.

• Effective communication and organizational skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
