Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Nashville, Tennessee. In this role, you will play a key part in managing financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy of invoices related to the fuel industry. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with vendors and team members to maintain seamless financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Process and reconcile invoices with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions to ensure proper financial documentation.

• Communicate effectively with vendors and clients to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth operations.

• Conduct detailed research to identify and address any financial discrepancies.

• Prepare and maintain comprehensive financial reports using Microsoft Excel.

• Perform data entry tasks with precision to support billing and invoicing processes.

• Utilize accounting software such as Oracle and QuickBooks to streamline financial tasks.

• Track and monitor financial records to ensure compliance with company procedures.

• Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency. Requirements • A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or a related field.

• Proficiency in account reconciliation and invoice processing.

• Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable procedures.

• Skilled in using Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and tracking.

• Familiarity with accounting software such as Oracle and QuickBooks.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with vendors and team members.
