Overview:
Our client in Commerce, CA is seeking a dynamic HR Generalist to join their fast-paced team on a temporary basis through Robert Half. This is an excellent opportunity for a human resources professional who thrives in a high-volume, high-intensity environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing large-scale recruiting cycles and onboarding, while supporting broader HR functions such as terminations and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Manage high-volume recruitment efforts—50 to 60 new hires weekly for a single department, with numbers increasing significantly during peak seasons (i.e., holidays).
+ Source, screen, and coordinate interviews for a wide range of positions.
+ Oversee and process new hire onboarding and documentation.
+ Support employee terminations, offboarding processes, and exit interviews.
+ Maintain up-to-date employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
+ Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide strategic recruiting support.
+ Assist with HR reporting, audits, and employee relations as needed.

Requirements
Qualifications:
+ 3+ years of experience as an HR Generalist with a strong focus on recruiting in high-volume environments.
+ Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines in a very fast-paced setting.
+ Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment law.
+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
+ Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to pivot quickly.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
+ Workday or ADP experience
Preferred:
+ Experience in logistics, manufacturing, distribution, or similar high-turnover industries.
+ Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
