Description
We are looking for a skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team on a contract basis in Cambridge, Massachusetts. This role requires exceptional communication and organizational abilities to handle customer inquiries effectively and ensure a positive experience. Responsibilities:
• Respond promptly to inbound customer calls and address inquiries with professionalism and accuracy
• Handle both inbound and outbound communications through phone and email channels
• Maintain accurate records and input data into company systems using tools such as Microsoft Excel and Word
• Schedule appointments and manage calendars efficiently to support team operations
• Process orders and ensure timely entry into the system to meet customer needs
• Provide detailed and clear information to customers regarding products, services, and policies
• Collaborate with team members to resolve customer issues and escalate complex cases when necessary
• Follow established procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance with company standards
• Contribute to the improvement of customer service processes by identifying areas for enhancement
• Deliver consistent and high-quality service to create a positive customer experience
Requirements
• Proven experience in a customer service or call center environment
• Strong skills in answering inbound calls and managing email correspondence
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word for data entry and record keeping
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic setting
• Familiarity with order entry systems and scheduling tools
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
