Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Oldsmar, Florida. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our accounts payable operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organization while utilizing your expertise in accounting processes.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately code invoices into the accounting system to ensure proper recordkeeping.

• Obtain necessary approvals for purchase orders to comply with organizational policies.

• Address vendor inquiries promptly and professionally, maintaining strong relationships.

• Process vendor payments accurately and in a timely manner.

• Reconcile vendor accounts to ensure financial accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

• Handle annual processing of 1099 forms in compliance with tax regulations.

• Review and process employee expense reports efficiently and in line with company guidelines.

• Utilize Sage Intacct and Microsoft Excel to perform daily accounting tasks and reporting. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable or similar accounting functions.

• Proficiency in Sage Intacct and Microsoft Excel for accounting operations.

• Strong understanding of account coding and reconciliation processes.

• Knowledge of Automated Clearing House (ACH) payment methods.

• Ability to process and manage employee expense reports effectively.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• Strong communication skills to interact with vendors and internal teams.
