Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Alpharetta, Georgia. This contract-to-permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced organization by ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of invoicing, payment processing, and account reconciliations. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise in Oracle, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and a strong ability to collaborate with both customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities:

• Generate and distribute customer invoices with precision, ensuring adherence to company policies.

• Record and process diverse payment types, including wire transfers, checks, and credit card transactions, within Oracle systems.

• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, unapplied cash, and customer inquiries promptly and professionally.

• Review and prepare aging reports to identify overdue accounts, recommending appropriate follow-up actions.

• Conduct regular account reconciliations to maintain accurate records and financial reporting.

• Collaborate with the accounting team during month-end and year-end closings to provide detailed documentation and insights.

• Organize and maintain documentation related to transactions and customer communications for easy retrieval and reference.

• Apply advanced Excel functions, such as pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, to analyze financial data and create actionable reports.

• Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency and accuracy within the accounts receivable department. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role.

• Proficiency in Oracle systems and familiarity with ERP platforms.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and billing functions.

• Experience in handling cash activity and payment processing.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Effective communication skills to interact with customers and internal stakeholders.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
