    The Senior Supply Planner is responsible for creating and optimizing supply plans to meet customer demand while effectively managing inventory levels. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and operations to ensure seamless supply chain execution. The Senior Supply Planner will utilize data analysis and forecasting techniques to drive operational efficiency and support overall business objectives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Forecasting and Demand Planning:

    o Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts by analyzing historical data, market trends, and sales insights.

    o Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to incorporate promotional activities and ensure alignment with forecast targets.

    2. Supply Planning Execution:

    o Create and adjust supply plans to satisfy customer orders while adhering to inventory targets and minimizing costs.

    o Evaluate production capacities, inventory levels, and lead times to make informed decisions about procurement and production schedules.

    3. Inventory Management:

    o Monitor inventory levels, turnover rates, and stock availability to optimize supply chain performance.

    o Establish safety stock levels and reorder points to prevent stockouts while reducing excess inventory.

    4. Collaboration and Communication:

    o Act as a liaison between various departments (e.g., procurement, production, logistics) to improve supply chain integration and efficiency.

    o Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding supply chain issues, order statuses, and inventory availability.

    5. Performance Analysis:

    o Utilize reporting tools and analytics to track key performance metrics related to forecasting accuracy, supply chain efficiency, and inventory health.

    o Prepare regular reports and presentations for management to inform decision-making and highlight areas for improvement.

    6. Continuous Improvement:

    o Identify opportunities for process improvements within the supply chain and lead initiatives to enhance overall efficiency.

    o Implement best practices in supply chain management based on industry trends and performance analysis.

    7. Systems Utilization:

    o Leverage ERP systems and supply chain software to manage data effectively and streamline planning processes.

    o Ensure data integrity and accuracy within systems related to inventory, demand forecasts, and supply plans.

    Must Have

    • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., APICS CPIM, CSCP) are advantageous.

    • Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in supply planning or related fields, preferably within manufacturing or distribution environments.
