Senior Homeless Services Specialist,** **Homeless Services
ICF’s Homeless Services team works with federal agencies, state and local governments, non-profits, and other community partners to implement evidence-based best practices and to innovate and identify new solutions to ending homelessness. We are currently seeking a mission-oriented candidate who is committed to ending homelessness and has a strong understanding of HMIS, coordinated entry, data-informed decision making, and system planning and program design.
We are seeking a **SENIOR HOMELESS SERVICES SPECIALIST** who, among other responsibilities, will support a wide array of clients and partners, including government agencies, community leaders, and nonprofit agencies, to advance solutions to prevent and end homelessness.
* This** **position will be remote, but the candidate must be located in the state of Maine.
What you’ll be doing:
+ Provide HMIS Lead services including system administration, training, technical assistance, data quality monitoring, ensuring compliance
+ Collaborate with local and state partners for more effective HMIS utilization to inform collective strategies to end homelessness
+ Advise on, update, maintain, and implement effective HMIS policies and procedures
+ Support end users with daily HMIS functions, including HUD reporting, troubleshooting, and identifying software issues
+ Establish, maintain, and enforce HMIS data quality standards
+ Ensure HMIS compliance with privacy and security requirements
+ Provide subject matter expertise for Technical Assistance projects that support local efforts to prevent and end homelessness through strategic planning activities, system and program evaluation, data analysis, system modeling, research, and policy development.
+ Contribute to tools, reports, research, and policy guidance.
+ Provide thought leadership to the Homeless Services technical assistance team to help develop effective relationships across jurisdictions, systems, and sectors to support alignment in effectively addressing homelessness.
Basic Qualifications:
+ Minimum 5 years of experience in the homelessness field, which can include a combination of lived experience of homelessness and professional and/or volunteer experience in the homelessness field.
+ Minimum of 1 year of experience working with HMIS governance, policy, and administration.
Additional Qualifications We Expect You to Have:
+ Understanding of McKinney-Vento Act and regulations governing the Continuum of Care (CoC) and Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG) programs.
+ Effective analytical, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
+ An associate’s or bachelor’s degree is a plus, but is not required.
+ Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
+ Experience with training delivery and provision of technical assistance.
+ Experience with other systems that affect homelessness, such as child welfare, education, or the justice system.
+ Knowledge and understanding of issues specific to preventing and ending youth homelessness.

**Pay Range** - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
$80,708.00 - $137,203.00
