Job Title: Senior Systems EngineerJob Description
We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support the design, integration, and management of complex high reliability systems throughout their lifecycles. Working within established model-based systems engineering frameworks, this position ensures all system components work together effectively and meet project requirements. The role requires a holistic approach to problem-solving, considering the interdependencies and interactions between various components.
Responsibilities
+ Lead and manage systems engineering lifecycle efforts including stakeholder and operational analysis, requirement identification, decomposition, and management.
+ Develop functional decomposition and modeling, logical system architecture development and modeling.
+ Define physical product interfaces and manage change control.
+ Integrate design and conduct testing.
+ Verify and validate systems.
+ Develop and model concepts of operations.
+ Develop and maintain system behavior models using model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools within established Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) frameworks.
+ Identify and monitor technical risks, and develop risk mitigation strategies.
+ Support value engineering activities including cost analyses, economic feasibility assessments, and cost reduction opportunity identification.
+ Write and review engineering documentation and reports, and communicate technical details and project progress to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
+ Work across engineering disciplines to ensure effective integration of system components and subsystems.
+ Execute systems engineering processes within quality management framework and under quality assurance procedures.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in requirements definition, systems engineering, systems analysis, and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
+ Experience with tangible 'hardware' products/projects that are large and complex.
+ Experience in high reliability industries such as aerospace, nuclear, automotive, or medical device.
+ Focused on MBSE and related technologies, with experience in tools like MagicDraw.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in industrial or systems engineering, or other engineering-related technical discipline.
+ At least 5-20 years of relevant experience.
+ Experience in systems with multiple connected subsystems elements (Mechanical, Electrical, Software, etc.).
+ Knowledge of system lifecycle processes, operational and stakeholder analysis, and requirements management.
+ Familiarity with system design, interface management, design integration, testing, verification, and validation.
+ Experience with MBSE tools and methods, and Product Lifecycle Management Systems such as Teamcenter PLM, Genesys, SysML, and DOORS.
+ Skills in systems modeling and simulation, interface control and management, configuration management, and change control.
+ Technical risk assessment and management skills.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $85.00/hr.
