The Role
HII (Huntington Ingalls Industries)-America's largest shipbuilder and a global, all-domain defense provider- seeks an experienced Senior Payroll Tax Analyst 4!
Responsibilities include
+ Manage timely and accurate remittance of Federal, State, and Local payroll taxes for US entities doing business in multiple states and localities
+ Coordination and review of complete, accurate, and timely payroll tax return filings
+ Reconcile wages and withholding for monthly, quarterly, and annual withholding and unemployment tax returns
+ Prepare jurisdictional registration documentation for all entities
+ Research and timely resolution of Federal, State, and Local taxing authority inquiries and discrepancies, including tax notices
+ Review and analyze applicable tax laws and regulations
+ Review and coordination of payroll tax financial account reconciliations

Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field plus at least 10 years of relevant experience, preferably with multi-jurisdictional payroll tax compliance for large employer. Master's degree and 8 years relevant experience.
Nice to Have
+ Experience handling complex payroll tax compliance for large organization with operations in multiple states and localities
+ Experience with SAP and Tax Reporter
+ Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
+ Experience with tax research services, such as Checkpoint
+ Experience with shadow payroll for employees on international assignment
+ Strong technology and organizational skills
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills
+ Strong analytical abilities
+ CPP Designation
