Responsibilities
The Senior Director of Pediatric Revenue Management will oversee all aspects of the revenue cycle for the Pediatric business lines at Powerback. This role is responsible for managing revenue and collections, focusing on optimizing revenue, reducing DSO, and establishing systems and processes. The Senior Director of Pediatric Revenue Management will ensure that all aspects within the Pediatric business lines are working collaboratively and will also work closely with teams across the organization to drive performance improvements and achieve business goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
+ Leads all RCM functions for Pediatrics (billing and collections, cash posting, authorizations, verification, denials, credentialing, contracting, and invoicing), ensuring efficient and accurate revenue cycle management processes.
+ Collaborates with IT and vendors to implement or upgrade technologies that improve revenue cycle processes.
+ Participates in cross-division collaboration to improve overall company performance and ensures revenue cycle goals align across departments.
+ Mentors and develops revenue cycle staff, providing coaching and conducting performance evaluations to foster growth and accountability.
+ Prepares detailed reports and analyses on accounts receivable, billing activity, and KPIs to inform senior leadership of trends and areas for improvement.
+ Develops and implements strategies to optimize collections and minimize aged receivables.
+ Handles major delinquent accounts and works with legal counsel if necessary.
+ Leads a team focusing on performance, engagement, and development.
+ Sets and tracks KPIs, ensures compliance, and reports regularly to senior leadership.
+ Performs other related duties as required.
Qualifications
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience required.
5+ years of experience in healthcare revenue management within a corporate environment.
Posted Salary Range
USD $120,000.00 - USD $140,000.00 /Yr.
