+  As a Day Shift Delivery BOX Truck Driver, no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will most likely include the following responsibilities:

+ Demonstrating a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance

+ Safeguarding company property, including donated goods

+ Maintaining records such as Vehicle Logs and daily Trip Sheets

+ Providing basic supervision for assigned Truck Helper

+ Reporting any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles

+ Reporting delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to headquarters

+ Loading and unloading trucks, vehicles, containers, and trailers.

+ Maintaining appropriate communication with headquarters

+ Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections on their assigned vehicle daily.

+ Inspecting truck equipment and supplies (such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water).

+ All other duties based on business needs.

The good news is that we have an amazing training program that will help teach you everything you need to know to be a BOX Truck Driver. But there are a few skills you should have from the get-go:

+ Communicating effectively, including using positive language with team members

+ Attention to detail while multi-tasking

+ Learn and adapt to evolving technology needs

+ Work both independently and with a team

We are an awesome place to work and care about our teams, so we want to make sure we are clear on a few more basics that we expect:

+ High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) preferred

+ Must be at least 21 years of age

+ Minimum 6 -12 months commercial truck driving experience

+ Valid Georgia Driver's License (Class C), with driving record acceptable to company's vehicle insurance standards

+ Must be able to read operating and safety instructions

+ Ability to effectively use a dolly, pallet jack and lift gate

+ Flexible work schedule and regular attendance necessary
