Description of Work Unit
Colorado State University is located in Fort Collins, Colorado (approximately 65 miles North of Denver), is situated on nearly 5,000 acres of land, including the main campus, and a mountain campus (Pingree Park).
This position would involve work in a laboratory environment. The laboratory intern will be exposed to constant or intermittent sounds and in proximity to moving, mechanical parts. Physical demands include the ability to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Candidate also must have the ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach.

Position Summary
The position will assist Susan De Long.
The position will include support for research including laboratory and computer tasks. Laboratory work will include support with maintenance and cleaning tasks and preparation of non-hazardous samples. Computer work will include preparation of figures and diagrams for publications and other routine tasks. The position will be for approximately 10 hours per week at arranged times.
