    Responsibilities

    1. Follow all Company policies.

    2. Adhere to Attendance guidelines.

    3. Responsible for the safety and quality of work while providing technical direction for day to day activities.

    4. Oversees and assists the troubleshooting and repair of electrical breakdowns such as PLC’s, heat controllers, counters, AC and DC drives and inverters including programming.

    5. Participates in the design, construction, and installation of new equipment, including electrical components.

    6. Train new personnel.

    7. Maintain a working knowledge of all plant operating systems and readily access records of diagrams & schematics.

    8. Troubleshoot, repair and correct mechanical, electrical and process problems associated with production equipment to ensure proper operation.

    9. Provide 24/7 technical support for production.

    10. Ability to assemble, disassemble, and convert/upgrade production lines or support equipment as required for repairs, upgrades and/or installations.

    11. Regularly inspect production lines and support equipment and perform necessary preventive maintenance routines (such as filter changes, oil changes, water on closed loop cooling systems).

    12. Ability to identify and work with contractors to repair, install, remove, and/or upgrade equipment.

    13. Maintains a safe working environment; reports unsafe conditions to management.

    14. Ability to work overtime as required. Rotates on-call schedule with maintenance staff.

    15. Orders parts as needed for service.

    16. Other duties as assigned or requested.

    17. Will be assigned to rotating plant production shift or day shift as needed to maintain production.

    Qualifications

    1. High school diploma or GED required.

    2. Associate degree or certificat in Industrial or Electrical/Electronics Technology or equivalent training of 8 years experience.

    3. Journeyman certification preferred.

    4. Ability to read mechanical and electrical and/or engineering blueprints, drawings and schematics.

    5. Ability to handle project work with little supervision.

    **Essential Physical Requirements:** Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, crouch, kneel, or crawl. Frequently required to use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms and to lift and carry or move up to 40 pounds. Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
