SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Responsible for maintaining the daily material flow of hospital supplies from the warehouse to the end user location. This individual will safely and appropriately use proper equipment to drive/deliver specified materials/products. This role is responsible for maintaining and ensuring a high quality product with the right fit, form, and function are available at the end user stocking location. This role is required to engage regularly with department end users and act on specific material/supplies related feedback.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES:** The percentage of time spent performing essential functions is 95%. Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties:
+ Responsible for physically replenishing end user locations.
+ Supports substitution and returns of products into the inventory.
+ Rotates inventory, checks expiration dating, quarantines product if damaged or is part of a recall.
+ Completes regular product specific feedback sessions with end users at stocking locations and ensures optimal customer service.
+ Communicates root cause inventory issues with site Inventory Coordinator and site Logistics Coordinator.
+ Operates equipment to deliver materials and goods, including lifting up to 100 lbs.
+ Suggests stocking level reviews to Inventory Coordinator and Supervisor.
+ Supports cycle counting and physical inventory reconciliations within hospital storage locations.
+ Maintains cleanliness of designated work area and supports daily 5s and Gemba activities.
+ Communicates barriers to Supervisor in a timely manner.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
+ High School diploma required
+ Two (2) years of demonstrated high performance within a logistics, materials, warehouse setting that is focused on quality of materials and inventory accuracy required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
+ Associate’s degree preferred
