How You'll Create Possibilities
Be the Catalyst for Operational Excellence
+ Take ownership of equipment and tooling in your production area, ensuring they meet and exceed performance standards.
+ Act as the go-to expert for troubleshooting and resolving process challenges, collaborating closely with maintenance teams.
+ Monitor and enhance **Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE)** to maximize output and minimize downtime.
+ Partner with quality and operations teams to improve key metrics like scrap rate, yield, and service call rate (SCR).
Drive Process Innovation and Improvement
+ Recommend and sign off on equipment and tooling upgrades, leveraging best practices and lessons learned.
+ Audit and optimize preventative maintenance plans to ensure equipment uptime and compliance.
+ Develop and document technical processes for stamping, molding, foaming, and more.
Collaborate Across Teams for Impactful Results
+ Work with team leaders, quality engineers, and lean resources to address production line issues quickly and effectively.
+ Lead cross-functional initiatives to identify and eliminate waste while improving safety, quality, delivery, and cost metrics.
+ Support and verify **LOTO (Lockout/Tagout)** instruction forms to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
What You'll Bring to Our Team
Requirements:
+ BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
+ Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Manufacturing Engineering/Operations/Quality support roles or equivalent military experience.
Proven expertise in troubleshooting high-volume manufacturing equipment and driving measurable improvements.
+ Strong leadership and communication skills to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.
+ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to quickly adapt to new systems.
+ Exceptional project management and analytical skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
+ Flexibility to adjust your schedule, including early mornings, late evenings, and occasional weekends, to support production needs.
