Job Description
The Controls and Avionics (CAS) Aftermarket is seeking to add a Material Handler to the team. The CAS Aftermarket team is responsible for maintaining, repairing, modifying, and overhauling customer owned flight control systems. Our experienced staff tackles unique problems that come back from the field and ensures that the customer gets quality returns in a timely manner. We do this through a collaborative and cross functional approach in order to provide overall customer satisfaction.
The CAS Aftermarket team has it s own unique needs for material that requires a full time dedicated individual to support the flow of repairs. The shop has a specific stock room with piece parts to support repairs and modifications. The area also works closely with other teams in Endicott, as well as other BAE facilities to utilize material that has already been procured that can be used for our benefit in the repair organization.
The Stock Keeper works hand in hand with the material planner, as well as the rest of the support and assembly teams in order to align material correctly and efficiently to the necessary repairs. This requires an individual who can keenly learn and put in to practice key processes that dictate our material flow. These transactions dictate the cost flow, inventory flow, and then ultimately the physical movement of material.
The team is looking for a detail oriented individual with key organizational skills able to handle multiple inputs flowing through at any given time. Candidates must be comfortable with all forms of communication and be comfortable working with multiple people throughout their day.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
+ High School Diploma
+ Key organizational skills
+ Ability to move, count and transfer small electronic piece parts
+ Able to handle all forms of communication
+ Experience with ERP programs such as Oracle
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Experience handling material transactions
+ Experience in a manufacturing environment
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $37295 - $59672
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
