Peckham Inc. - 3PL Intern
POSITION SUMMARY
The 3PL Intern will support Peckham’s Third-Party Logistics (3PL) line of business by contributing to the development of clear, engaging training content that promotes consistency and excellence across both warehouse and administrative systems. This internship offers hands-on experience in instructional design, cross-functional collaboration, and insight into the operations of a third-party logistics environment. The intern will work an average of 20 hours per week.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Create engaging and concise 3–5-minute training videos for internal systems and processes.
+ Develop instructional content for Warehouse Management System (WMS) functions.
+ Produce training content for administrative platforms.
+ Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance of training materials
+ Regularly assess and update existing training videos to reflect any changes in systems or processes
+ Identify gaps in training coverage and proactively develop additional content as needed
+ Maintain consistency in instructional tone, branding, and video quality across all materials
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Promote Peckham’s vision, value, culture, and commitment to excellent customer services to all team members, staff, customers and stakeholders
+ Maintain a safe and clean work environment
+ Other duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
+ Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree program in Business, Supply Chain, Instructional Design, Communications, or a related field
+ Comfortable working with people of all abilities, cultures and ages
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
+ Willingness to learn internal systems and adapt to new technologies
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
+ Basic understanding of warehouse operations or logistics terminology
+ Experience working in a warehouse environment.
+ Ability to create clear, concise instructional content
+ Comfortable utilizing or learning video editing software and basic multimedia tools
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS
This role may involve occasional work on the warehouse floor, which can include standing, walking, and exposure to a loud, fast-paced environment. The role must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation. Proper safety gear will be provided as needed. The position also requires the ability to sit and use a computer for extended periods of time.
