    Description

    SAIC is seeking an **Operations Research Analyst** with a strong financial background to support SAIC’s growing unmanned systems programs in **Panama** **City Beach, FL** . This position supports and manages the operational aspects of ongoing government projects and serves as the liaison between government customers and SAIC leadership.

    Job Responsibilities:

    + Responsible for developing budgets and schedules to meet project requirements.

    + Conduct comprehensive analysis and forecasting to support long-term planning and execution for Navy program managers, NSWC PCD senior leadership, and program offices.

    + Develop analytical reports and presentations for Navy customers to communicate complex data and provide recommendations.

    + Applying mathematical modeling techniques to monitor program performance against key organizational benchmarks, enabling informed decision-making and offering recommendations for improvements when necessary.

    + Collect, analyze, and interpret operational and financial data to inform Navy leadership decisions, enhancing mission readiness and organizational effectiveness at NSWC PCD.

    + Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including financial models, process flows, and business cases.

    + Conduct in-depth variance analysis to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities to streamline operations.

    + Serve as the internal SAIC lead on contracts supporting SAIC PCB UxS programs and primary customer interface for UxS programs.

    Qualifications

    Required Education and Experience:

    + Bachelors and five (5) years of relevant experience; Masters degree and three (3) years of relevant experience; 4 years of additional experience in lieu of a degree.

    Required Security Clearance:

    + Must have an active Interim Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance (US Citizenship required).

    Required Skills:

    + Proven experience as a Business/Program Analyst or in a similar role.

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    + Strong proficiency in MS Office tools like Excel, Word, PowerPoint and project management software.

    + Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.

    + 2+ years of experience with Navy ERP.

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    + Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

    + Prior experience directly supervising employees.
