**Location:** 1025 Bypass Rd, Winchester, KY 40391
**Operating Hours:** Mon.- Fri., 9 AM - 6 PM
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Utilize standard technology, including telephone, e-mail, and web browser, to support callers.
+ Assist callers with completing and submitting online applications to plan providers.
+ Follow pre-scripted responses and deliver claims-specific information accurately.
+ Maintain call logs by confirming responses through designated system selections.
+ Escalate calls to Customer Service Representative II when necessary.
+ May be required to work holidays and overtime, based on business needs.
+ Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education and Work Experience Requirements:
+ High School diploma or equivalent required.
+ Minimum of 6 months of customer service, secretarial, or telemarketing experience or equivalent military experience.
+ Proficiency in typing (20 wpm minimum)
+ Experience working with PC and Windows operating systems.
+ Ability to meet contractual turnaround times, follow documented policies and procedures, and adhere to privacy regulations.
+ Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
+ Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
+ Spanish fluency is a plus.
+ Must have physical ability to sit for extended periods in sedentary office setting.
+ Requires 100% phone-based work, including wearing a headset while using a phone and computer.
+ Ability to manage stress and work efficiently under pressure.
+ Adherence to strict attendance break policies.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to sit for prolonged periods of time. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
