JOB SUMMARY:

The Revenue Management and Analytics Intern will support the Travel Company UPRV Revenue Management team in analyzing key business metrics, which involves collecting and analyzing data, preparing reports, and assisting in the development of strategies that align with company goals. The intern will gain exposure to real-time decision-making processes, cross-functional collaboration, and the tools and techniques used in revenue optimization. This internship is ideal for a detail-oriented, analytical thinker who is eager to gain hands-on experience in data-driven business strategy.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Gathers, cleans, and validates data from various sources including sales, bookings, and pricing systems.

+ Analyzes historical and real-time data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies affecting revenue performance.

+ Supports ongoing revenue management projects, including automation initiatives, pricing experiments, analysis, and more.

+ Documents processes and findings to ensure knowledge transfer and team continuity.

+ Builds proficiency in data visualization, spreadsheet modeling, and basic forecasting techniques.

+ Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.

+ Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

+ In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Sophomore or above.

+ Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.

+ A transcript is required upon application.

PREFERRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

+ Preferred majors include: Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Data Science, Hospitality Management, or similar.

+ Preferred coursework completed: Revenue Management, Business Analytics, Data Visualization, Operations Management, Marketing Analytics, Financial Modeling, Pricing Strategy, or similar.

+ Preferred experience working with large datasets (e.g., SQL, PowerBI, Tableau).

+ Basic knowledge of data cleaning and validation.

+ This internship will be an in-person experience, based in our Orlando offices.

+ Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than April 2026.

+ Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.

+ All of our internships are paid, and you may also qualify for housing financial assistance if applicable. The Recruiter will provide specific eligibility details.
