    Landscape Water Truck Driver/Flower Maintenance

    We’re currently seeking a Water Truck Driver. You are a detailed landscaper who inspires your team through passion, you will care for, plant and maintain flowers and other landscapes.

     

    THE STARTTING RATE OF PAY IS $18 PER HOUR BUT CAN GO UP FROM THERE DEPENDENT UPON PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE AND ANY CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES YOU HOLD.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Operating the Water Truck:

    + Fill tank with water and drive truck to designated locations and delivering water to water flower pots and flower beds at commercial land residential sites.

    Pre- and Post-Trip Inspections:

    + Conducting thorough inspections of the truck before and after each trip to ensure its safe and operational condition.

    Maintaining the Truck:

    + Keeping the truck clean, checking fluid levels, and reporting any needed maintenance or repairs.

    Following Safety Protocols:

    + Adhering to traffic laws, company safety policies, and environmental regulations related to water handling and disposal.

    Communication:

    + Communicating with supervisor(s), and other team members to coordinate watering and resolve issues.

    Documentation:

    + Maintaining accurate logs of trips, water usage, and maintenance activities.

    May Perform Other Duties:

    + Depending on the specific job, a water truck driver may also be required to assist with other tasks like cleaning equipment, road maintenance, or operating auxiliary equipment on the truck.

    + Flower/Plant Maintenance – You will maintain flower beds which could include, planting, weeding as well as watering the flowers and any other Watering/Flower Maintenance related tasks assigned.

    Qualifications:

    + DOT: Ability to be DOT’d or have current DOT certification. (This does require a Drug Test by Federal policy)

    + Experience: At least two years of truck-driving experience, preferably with International or trucks pulling trailers.

    + Knowledge of Regulations: Understanding of state and federal regulations related to commercial driving and truck maintenance.

    + Safety Orientation: A strong commitment to safety and a willingness to follow company safety policies and procedures.

    + Reliability and Punctuality: Being reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.

    + Ability to Work Independently: Being able to work independently and follow instructions.
