Program Summary
The Marine Corps Prepositioning Program (MCPP) is based in Jacksonville, Florida. We provide maintenance and logistic services to the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) in support of this program. For over 35 years we have planned, coordinated, and executed the maintenance and logistic services for ground combat vehicles and support equipment for USMC Expeditionary Forces.
Job Summary
As the IT Business Process Analyst you will perform system analysis related functions to ensure the efficient operation of Oracle and PC-based supply systems. You will be heavily involved in creation/management/maintenance of Microsoft Access (SQL) databases.
+ Prepare detailed program specifications, instructions for data retrieval and system enhancements.
+ Plan and conduct system projects, necessitating the application of advanced computer systems knowledge.
+ Design, develop and validate information retrieval programs.
+ Produce daily reports for MPS operations.
+ Prepare Metrics and Diagrams to assist in effective management and performance evaluations.
+ Act as a Functional (Unit) Account Manager for GCSS-MC (Oracle).
+ Act as liaison with LOGCOM Albany GA., and SCMB BICmd for all function system requirements and report discovered issues.
+ Provide training for information retrieval or technical knowledge as required on GCSS-MC, PC-Based programs or other related systems.
+ Compile with all; Marine Corps Prepositioning Program (MCPP) ISO-9002 policies and procedures.
+ Perform other related duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
+ Requires a Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics or Computer Science is desirable
+ In lieu of a degree, a combination of education, training and directly related experience may be considered.
+ Must have 4 years of directly related work experience.
+ Must be able to design and use SQL, SharePoint, and MS Office Suite applications
+ Must be a U.S. Citizenship
+ Must be able to obtain and maintain a CAC card.
+ Valid U.S. state driver’s license required.
+ Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
•Additional Qualifications
+ Knowledge of the Marine Corps Supply System (GCSS-MC).
+ Working knowledge of Business Intelligence.
