The Facilities Manager will lead a team of technicians supporting preventive and corrective maintenance of critical lab and office systems at Cytiva headquarters. This hands-on role requires an experienced professional skilled in troubleshooting complex utility equipment with minimal supervision. The manager will mentor staff, promote safety and security, and lead by example with strong technical and communication skills.
This position reports to the Site Leader and is part of the Facilities and Production Equipment department located in Marlborough, MA and will be an on-site role.
What you will do :
+ Oversee the daily operations of the multi operating company facility , ensuring that all systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical , security ) are functioning properly.
+ Develop and manage budgets for maintenance, repairs, and capital projects, monitoring expenditures to ensure cost-effectiveness. Identify opportunities for cost savings through efficient resource allocation , sustainability, and management.
+ Manage and assign site maintenance requests , conduct regular inspections, and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal facility conditions and compliance with safety and security standards.
+ Coordinate repair and renovations, vendor - manag e d contractors and service providers to maintain facility integrity.
+ Develop and maintain SOPs, preventive maintenance tasks, and technical documentation.
+ E nsure compliance with asset management strategies and equipment reliability standards.
+ Serve as Facilities SME , develop and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
Who you are:
+ High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 7 years’ experience working as a maintenance technician or skilled trade within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
+ Minimum 5 years’ experience leading a maintenance team .
+ Possess at least one professional license or certification. Preferably in one of the following areas; Electrician, HVAC-R, Wastewater Operator, Plumber/Pipefitter, Automation/Controls, Machining, Welding.
+ Licensed MA wastewater treatment operator preferred, or willing to obtain.
+ Experience working with a CMMS, preferably Infor EAM.
+ Experience operating , monitoring, or maintaining a Building Management System for a controlled environment.
+ Experience in lease hold (CAPEX) improvement projects.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role
+ Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 40 lb, any other physical requirements
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
+ L ab air handlers, boilers, purified water systems, compressed air and lab gas

The salary range for this role is $115,000 to $1 30 ,000 . This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
