Job Description
Team Size: Join a team of 4 members, plus a supervisor and director.
Training: Approximately 2 weeks of hands-on training.
Work Schedule: In office Monday to Friday.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (includes 2 x 15-minute breaks, paid and 1 hour lunch break, unpaid).
Responsibilities:
Job Placement Facilitation: Build strong relationships with employers, understand workforce needs, and provide career guidance to job seekers.
Coordination: Work closely with other departments to identify and leverage internal resources for employment support.
Resume Assistance: Help candidates craft and refine their resumes.
Interview Coaching: Provide coaching for interviews, including mock interviews and feedback.
Job Matching: Match candidates with suitable job opportunities.
Follow-Up Services: Offer follow-up services to ensure successful job placements.
Recruitment Events: Support and participate in recruitment events to attract potential candidates.
Employer Partnerships: Develop and maintain partnerships with employers to facilitate job placements.
Tracking Outcomes: Track placement outcomes and ensure candidates are well-prepared to enter the workforce.
Plan Design and Development: Design and develop plans for participants, including determining and assigning work activities, educational programs, and training sessions.

Skills and Requirements
Degree or equivalent work experience
2+ years of previous experience in these roles or similar: recruiter, coordinator, or in workplace/workforce development
Previous experience with resume assistance, interview coaching, job matching, recruiting events, and ability to present reports on recruitment and training activities
Local to San Diego area, and able to work onsite Mon-Friday
Demonstrated understanding of modern office methods and practices and ability to use various computer systems, such as MS Word, Excel, Access and internet browsers. 2+ years of customer relationship management or case management experience.
Bachelors degree null
