Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners are encouraged to consider a newly created position with Liberty Healthcare at DHCI - a skilled nursing facility located in Smyrna, Delaware.
In this role, you will focus on delivering high quality psychiatric and mental health nursing services to older adults and people who are living with physical and cognitive disabilities.
Your day-to-day work will include:
+ Evaluating patients and conducting mental status examinations
+ Formulating diagnoses and developing treatment plans
+ Prescribing medications - monitoring efficacy and side effects
+ Charting in medical records
+ Participating in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings
+ Collaborating with the facility's Medical Director, nursing team, and ancillary staff
You have the option of working either a traditional full-time schedule or a flexible part-time schedule.

You are a good fit for this position if you possess the following:
+ Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Board Certification (PMHNP-BC)
+ Professional licensure in Delaware as a Nurse Practitioner
+ DEA
+ High level of clinical competency in treating older adults and people who have loss of cognitive functioning
