Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced **Nurse Manager** to lead clinical operations and drive excellence in care delivery within our PACE program. The Nurse Manager will play a critical role in clinical service planning, business performance, quality improvement, and team leadership. This is an opportunity to make a profound difference in the lives of older adults through a mission-driven model of care.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Operations
• Lead daily operations of clinical and support staff, ensuring high standards of care and staff competency.
• Oversee hiring, training, and performance evaluations of nursing and clinical support personnel.
• Ensure clinical policies, procedures, and standards are current and effectively implemented.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members for cohesive and efficient care delivery.
Service Planning & Staff Development
• Assess community health needs of PACE participants and implement responsive programming.
• Develop educational programming and facilitate interdisciplinary care for PACE participants.
• Provide clinical leadership and mentoring to nursing and interdisciplinary team members.
Business Performance
• Monitor cost-effectiveness and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and quality outcomes.
• Foster accountability and continuous improvement across staff and systems.
Performance Improvement
• Design and track key quality indicators including clinical outcomes, service efficiency, and PACE participant satisfaction.
• Collaborate with providers to implement meaningful performance improvements.
Leadership & Communication
• Inspire change and fosters a culture of inclusivity, collaboration, and excellence.
• Work collaboratively with union representatives and its members to ensure compliance with labor agreements.
• Promote a diverse and inclusive workforce aligned with CHA’s mission and values.
Qualifications
Education
• Graduate of an NLN-accredited School of Nursing
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Master’s of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred
Licensure & Certification
• Current Massachusetts RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Experience
• Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience
• Experience with home care, clinic triage, and/or PACE service delivery preferred
• Proven leadership and staff management experience in a healthcare setting
