    Join Our Team as an Accounts (AR) Receivable Specialist

     

    Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for finance and customer relations? We're seeking an enthusiastic Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist to ensure timely customer payments, resolve discrepancies, process credits, and cultivate strong relationships with our valued clients.

     

    Excelling in this role depends on demonstrating a high level of integrity and dedication with a keen eye for detail. Clear communication and strong interpersonal skills are required to collaborate effectively with internal colleagues and external customers. A positive can-do attitude, combined with superior accounting, time management and organizational skills round out the keys to success.

    Principle Responsibilities

    + Maintain minimal aged open balances on all assigned customer accounts

    + Ensure customers receive their invoices within 24 hours of shipment

    + Regularly monitor emails and customer portals to keep records of unpaid invoices up to date

    + Actively investigate and resolve irregularities in incoming payments

    + Contact customers as needed to ensure payment of outstanding invoices

    + Collaborate with accounting team members to support overall financial operations.

    + Generate and deliver reports to various departments as required

    Requirements

    + Education in accounting, finance, business administration or related field

    + Minimum 2 years of experience in a busy accounting department

    + Demonstrated proficiency in calculating, posting, and managing accounting figures and financial records.

    + Technical Proficiency:Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; substantial experience with ERP systems such as ProducePro or JustFoods is a plus.

    + Communication Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

    + Collaborative Spirit:Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.

    + Problem-Solving:Strong analytical skills with a forward-thinking mindset, always seeking innovative solutions to challenges.
