Description We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Alameda, California. In this role, you will play a key part in managing inventory levels, ensuring accuracy in tracking, and supporting operational efficiency. This role is ideal for candidates who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct physical inventory counts and maintain accurate records of all stock levels.

• Monitor inventory movements and ensure proper documentation of incoming and outgoing items.

• Collaborate with various departments to address inventory needs and minimize discrepancies.

• Implement and improve inventory control procedures to optimize efficiency.

• Operate material handling equipment to transport and organize stock when necessary.

• Track inventory using software systems and ensure data accuracy.

• Perform regular audits to identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory.

• Report inventory-related issues or shortages promptly to supervisors.

• Support annual physical inventory processes and assist in reconciliation efforts.

• Ensure compliance with safety and organizational standards while handling inventory. Requirements • Proven experience in inventory management or a related field.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.

• Proficiency in inventory tracking systems and basic computer skills.

• Familiarity with operating material handling equipment is preferred.

• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

• Basic math skills to perform calculations and verify stock levels.
