M&S Consulting is seeking a Salesforce Solution Architect to work in Washington, DC. Candidate must possess an active Top Secret/PSI clearance to lead the design and implementation of Salesforce solutions tailored for a Federal Agency. This role involves working within a cleared environment and leveraging Salesforce GovCloud Plus to meet the unique compliance and security requirements of federal operations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, extensive experience in federal IT systems, and a track record of delivering scalable and secure solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Solution Design and Architecture:
+ Develop scalable, secure, and compliant Salesforce solutions using Salesforce GovCloud Plus.
+ Translate business requirements into technical designs, ensuring alignment wit federal standards and regulations.
+ Design data models, process flows, and integration strategies that optimize system performance.
2. Implementation Leadership:
+ Lead the implementation of Salesforce solutions working with the Technical Architect to help drive custom development and configuration.
+ Ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements.
+ Oversee the development of prototypes, proofs of concept, and detailed technical documentation.
3. Collaboration:
+ Collaborate with federal agency stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
+ Work closely with project managers, developers, and business analysts to ensure successful project delivery.
+ Provide thought leadership and technical guidance to project teams.
4. Compliance and Security:
+ Ensure solutions meet federal security and compliance standards, including FedRAMP, IL 5/6 and air gapped environments.
+ Work within the constraints of a cleared environment, adhering to all security protocols and procedures.
+ Conduct security assessments and implement best practices to safeguard sensitive data.
5. Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
+ Stay informed about Salesforce advancements and their applicability to federal use cases.
+ Recommend and implement improvements to optimize system performance and user experience.
+ Advocate for the adoption of new features and technologies that align with agency goals.
Required Qualifications:
+ Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
+ 8+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years in Salesforce architecture and solution design.
+ Proven experience implementing Salesforce in a federal or highly regulated environment.
+ Hands-on expertise with Salesforce GovCloud Plus.
Certifications:
+ Salesforce Certified Solution Architect or equivalent certifications (e.g., Salesforce Application Architect, System Architect).
+ Relevant industry certifications are a plus.
Skills:
+ Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, including Lightning, Apex, Visualforce, and integrations.
+ Strong knowledge of federal compliance standards and security requirements.
+ Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Clearance: Active Secret/Top Secret/PSI clearance required.
