About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between the business needs and systems/ technology, leveraging data driven decision- making, optimize processes and support strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze and document business requirements.

+ Translate business needs into functional specifications for developments teams.

+ Conduct process analysis and recommend improvements to optimize business operations.

+ Support project planning, risk identification, and impact analysis.

+ Develop use cases, user stories and process to communicate requirements effectively

+ Assist in testing, validation, and user acceptance to ensure successful implementation.

+ Handle multiple project / work stream testing tracks concurrently

+ Independently lead and facilitate user testing demonstrations and guided testing sessions

+ Defect tracking and status communication to management

+ Drive business approval prior to technical and operational launches

+ Skilled in managing expectations and conflict resolution

What we're looking for

+ 2+ years Business Analyst experience and Bachelor's degree preferred

+ Commercial insurance experience preferred

+ Fundamental understanding of the insurance process, life cycle and lexicon preferred

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office products required.

+ Understanding of technology processes (e.g. change management, technology operations, business continuity, etc. )and application controls.​

The base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
