Description We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our logistics team in Miami, Florida. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in managing customer accounts, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining accurate financial records. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in accounts receivable and collections who are seeking stability and growth.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor assigned customer accounts to ensure accurate invoicing and timely collections.

• Communicate with clients to address outstanding payments and resolve discrepancies in a meticulous manner.

• Investigate and resolve billing disputes, maintaining strong relationships with customers throughout the process.

• Maintain detailed records of customer transactions, payment histories, and correspondence.

• Prepare and present weekly reports on collection activities and outstanding accounts to management.

• Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies related to debt collection practices.

• Collaborate with internal teams to reconcile accounts and streamline collection processes.

• Utilize accounting software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel to manage accounts effectively.

• Support cash applications and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial reporting. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.

• At least 2-3 years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, or a similar role.

• Proficiency in accounting software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong skills in account reconciliation and cash collections.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities for resolving billing disputes.

• Solid organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Knowledge of regulations and best practices related to debt collection.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
