Hours:

Flexibility to work 1st and 2nd shift

Responsibility:

+ Lives and reinforces Safety as a condition in all activities

+ Serves as the Pilgrim’s Management Method subject matter expert for assigned facilities

+ Leads assigned facility’s Management Method efforts by functioning as a business partner with each Method Pillar

+ Responsible for proactively working with facility management to identify and assess KPI gaps, and lead projects to closure through the use of Operational Excellence tools and methodologies

+ Delivers effective Management Method training

+ Demonstrates ownership of core tools

+ 6S

+ Writing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures

+ Statistical Process Control

+ Root Cause Analysis

+ Kaizen Events

+ Leads gap-closure projects and owns project success.

+ Update and analyze key metrics for the assigned complex or business unit

+ Leads self-assessment audits for Management Method.

Education:

Undergraduate Degree, (Prefer engineering, science, or business focus)

Experience:

+ 2 - 5 years manufacturing industry experience (preferably in poultry)

+ At least 1 year in Pilgrim’s

+ Background in ZBB or production

Special Skills

+ Good oral and written communication skills

+ Strong Excel user

+ MiniTab experience preferred

+ Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills

+ Good internal relationship skills

+ Resilient & Flexible

+ Teaching and coaching skills

+ Hands-on mentality

+ High level of business acumen

+ 6 Sigma Green Belt or higher (desired)

+ Lean Methodology including Waste reduction experience
