    Sr. Java Full Stack Engineer

     

    As a Sr. Software Engineer you will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions using AWS SQL Spring Boot Angular JS Java and JavaScript. You will work in a hybrid model collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that drive business success.

     

    You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

    Responsibilities

    Develop and maintain software applications using Java Spring Boot and Angular JS to meet business requirements.

     

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable and efficient software solutions.

     

    Implement cloud-based solutions using AWS to enhance application performance and reliability.

     

    Write and optimize SQL queries to ensure efficient data retrieval and manipulation.

     

    Utilize JavaScript to create dynamic and interactive user interfaces.

     

    Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.

     

    Troubleshoot and resolve software defects to maintain application stability.

    Qualifications

    Possess a strong understanding of AWS and its services for cloud-based application development.

     

    Demonstrate proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for backend development.

     

    Have experience with Angular JS for building responsive front-end applications.

     

    Show expertise in writing and optimizing SQL queries for database interactions.

     

    Be skilled in JavaScript for creating interactive web applications.

     

    Familiarity with mySQL for database management is a plus.

     

    Salary and compensation

     

    The annual salary for this position will be between $68k - $114,00 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
