    Settlement Supervisor – ATS Asset Driver Settlement DepartmentThe Settlement Supervisor leads the daily operations of the ATS Asset Driver Settlement department. This position is responsible for ensuring high performance of the team, accurate and timely load verification, driver settlements, and customer billing processes. With a strong emphasis on operational excellence and continuous improvement, the Supervisor drives efficiency, accountability, and service quality across all settlement functions.

     

    They are a key leader in fostering positive driver and customer experience, upholding ATS's iDRIVE core values, and creating a culture of collaboration, performance, and trust. The Settlement Supervisor serves as a strategic partner across departments, leading their team with clarity, purpose, and an unwavering commitment to delivering best-in-class results.

     

    Education and Experience

     

    + A minimum of anAssociatedegree in business, office administration, or related field and/or a minimum of two (2) years of equivalent experience in related field. e.g., contracting, purchasing, or accounting.

    + One to two years of supervisory experience required.

    + Strong knowledge of accounting principles and proficiency in Microsoft office

    + Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

    + Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills; able to build trust, work cross-functionally, and relate to diverse groups.

    + Skilled in continuous improvement, maintaining confidentiality, and responding to internal and external customer needs.

    + Able to gather and analyze information and develop alternative solutions.

    + Must be a team player, adaptable to shifting priorities and willing to take ownership of cross-functional projects.

    + Must be able to demonstrate a proactive commitment to ATS corporate values and the success of all staff.

    + Excellent communication skills (written, listening and verbal).

    + Willing and able to travel infrequently, including overnight travel.

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

     

    + Ensure timely and accurate driver settlements by monitoring workflow folders and meeting settlement cutoff deadlines.

    + Oversee driver compensation in accordance with specific pay schedules and contract agreements.

    + Collaborate with settlement staff and department managers to resolve workflow and pay-related issues.

    + Enforce company policies for driver pay and escalate discrepancies when necessary.

    + Manage and distribute weekly verifier error reports, incentive payouts, and settlement reports.

    + Maintain weekly settlement calendar tasks and deliver required reporting to leadership.

    Supervisor Responsibilities

    + Oversee driver and contractor pay alignment with contracts and schedules, escalating issues and assisting in complex pay calculations and reporting.

    + Owns accuracy and compliance of driver settlement processes, ensuring integrity in compensation and financial reconciliation.

    + Direct daily settlement operations by managing queue assignments, monitoring communications, and guiding team workflows.

    + Leads or participates in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of settlement processes.

    + Provide continuous team support through coaching, performance reviews, and SMART goal development, support employee training and development.

    + Serve as a point of escalation for internal and external inquiries, making decisions in line with department policies.

    + Analyze performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities and ensure high service standards and deliverables.

    + Demonstrate leadership aligned with ATS values, fulfilling core managerial duties, and supporting company culture, including after-hours responsibilities when needed.

    + Support ATS' culture by aligning actions, behaviors, performance, and decisions in accordance with the Company's values as set forth in our All-Employee Competencies.

    + Perform key All-Manager Responsibilities; Deliver high business results, Build the right team, develop talent for growth and manage optimal performance.

    + Complete work responsibilities outside of normal business hours as needed and infrequent travel may be required.

    + Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

    Compensation & Benefits:

    + The anticipated hourly pay range for this position is between $26.50 - $34.00. Hourly pay rate offered is determined by relevant experience, education, certifications, and geographic location as compared to others doing substantially similar work . In addition to the hourly rate of pay, employees may be eligible for performance-based incentives, which can vary depending on individual and/or company performance.
