Effectively engage and communicate with a range of stakeholders across customer organizations—from engineers and technical users to procurement teams and executive leadership—adapting messaging to align with their unique priorities and decision-making roles.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
Own a defined portfolio of customer accounts and be accountable for driving growth in sales volume, product penetration, and overall market share.
Execute targeted sales campaigns designed to generate new revenue, grow share of wallet, and increase customer loyalty.
Build and nurture trusted relationships with key decision-makers and technical stakeholders within each assigned account, establishing credibility through product and industry fluency.
Identify and act on opportunities to expand product usage, upsell complementary solutions, and introduce new offerings.
Leverage customer insights, purchasing data, technical requirements, and market trends to tailor outreach and proposals for maximum impact.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product management, and outside sales to coordinate efforts and share customer intelligence.
Maintain a consistent cadence of outreach through calls, emails, virtual meetings, and other digital touchpoints to keep customers engaged and informed.
Track account activity, pipeline progress, and campaign outcomes using CRM and reporting tools; adjust strategies based on performance data.
Proactively resolve customer concerns or obstacles that may impact retention or growth.
Required Experience, Interpersonal and Leadership Skills:
2+ years of experience in sales, account management, or customer success, with a track record of hitting growth targets.
Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to uncover customer needs and position value-driven solutions.
Experience managing structured outreach campaigns and sales motions with measurable results.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, both verbal and written.
Highly organized and comfortable managing a large volume of accounts and activities simultaneously.
Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales enablement tools.
Experience working in a fast-paced sales environment with performance-based goals.
Familiarity with selling through campaign-driven models or account-based marketing strategies.
Background in technical or product-based industries is a plus.
