VCA** **All Pet Emergency Center** is hiring an experienced Veterinary Assistant with a passion for emergency medicine to join our team! **(Part Time)

**Location:** 104 S Heidelbach Ave, Evansville, IN 47713

We provide after hours emergency and critical care services in Evansville, IN, open weekday nights, weekends, and holidays.

Shift Hours:

Monday 6 pm - Tuesday 8 am

Tuesday evenings: CLOSED

Wednesday 6 pm - Thursday 8am

Thursday 6 pm - Friday 8 am

Friday 6 pm - Monday 8 am

Major Holidays open 24 hours

About the Role

As Veterinary Assistant, you will help create and maintain a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our patients and clients. Duties will include:

+ Client education and communication

+ Patient triage

+ Venipuncture

+ Catheter placement

+ Radiology

+ Physical examinations and patient assessment

+ Assisting with surgery and anesthesia

+ Laboratory work

+ Pharmacy

+ Patient recovery

+ Compassionate patient care
