Aston Carter is hiring a Plant Accountant for an excellent employer in the Bluffton, IN area.

Job Duties:

+ Responsible for processing accounts payable, receiving and auditing vendor invoices, and preparing payments

+ Handles accounts receivable functions including processing customer payments and depositing checks online

+ Manages AP aging reports

+ Assists Controller with monthly financial reporting and statements

+ Maintains general ledger account and bank statement reconciliations; functions are performed in Plex or in spreadsheet form

+ Responsible for all UTP accounting in Quickbooks

+ Reviews sales and use tax invoices and monthly remittance to state

+ Makes federal and state estimated tax deposits when required

+ Manages fixed asset accounting and records reporting

Qualifications:

+ 3-10 years of accounting experience

+ Experience with journal entries, month end close, GL, account reconciliation, and financial statement preparation

+ Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related is preferred but not required

+ Proficient in any accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.03 - $33.65/hr.
