Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Job Description
The Production Kitter is responsible for ensuring that items leaving the fabrication area are complete, collated, and closed out before being distributed to the next phase of production.
Responsibilities
+ Work from a priority list provided by the lead until trained to develop the list independently.
+ Use IQMS for direct material requirements, ensuring the right quantity of the correct material is in the right place when required and from the right area.
+ Print and maintain all labels associated with this process.
+ Manage department data and ensure required paperwork is 100% complete and dashboards are free of errors.
+ Communicate with internal customers to guarantee product availability in conjunction with the production schedule.
+ Collaborate with Purchasing and Production management to establish and maintain manufacturing processes to meet customer requirements.
+ Train associates on the kitting process and hold them accountable.
+ Identify and resolve department problems, seeking assistance when necessary.
+ Act as a key member of the physical inventory team, including preparation, counting, and data entry of annual physical inventory.
+ Maintain a safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and other company regulations.
+ Keep the work area neat and clean to help maintain the company 5S score.
+ Perform tasks safely, including inventory, quality check, kitting, general labor, order collecting, work order reading, packing, production, picking, packaging, loading, and order picking.
Essential Skills
+ Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
+ Manufacturing experience is preferred.
+ Proficiency in using bar code readers, computers, and other electronic devices.
+ High attention to detail, strong communication skills, and excellent problem-solving skills.
+ Initiative and ability to begin and follow a job through to completion with little supervision.
+ Willingness to work extended hours before and after shifts as needed.
Work Environment
The work environment is a non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility. Employees balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach to work overhead, walk or stand for a minimum of 8 hours with limited breaks, or sit at a desk for a minimum of 8 hours per day based on requirements. Employees push and pull materials, finger and grasp parts and components, and exert up to fifty pounds of force frequently. The position requires close visual acuity for inspections and operating machines, tolerance for extremes in weather and machine temperature, and tolerance for loud noise. Visual acuity is required to access details such as prints, parts, and work orders. There is a shift differential of $1 for the 2nd shift and $2 for the 3rd shift.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.93 - $18.21/hr.
