    Job Description

    The Production Expeditor plays a crucial role in coordinating and assisting with all activities involved in the manufacturing process within a production environment. This position requires close collaboration with the management team to ensure that work orders, parts, and materials are prepared to meet production schedules. The Expeditor is responsible for producing work orders, delivering equipment to the appropriate departments, and entering data into the system for supervisor access. The primary goal is to ensure that production runs smoothly and efficiently, resulting in timely product completion.

    Responsibilities

    + Coordinate and assist with all activities involved in the manufacturing process.

    + Collaborate closely with the management team to ensure readiness of work orders, parts, and materials.

    + Produce work orders and deliver equipment to the necessary departments.

    + Enter learned data into the system for supervisor accessibility.

    + Ensure smooth and efficient production operations for on-time product completion.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in inventory management.

    + Strong production coordination skills.

    + Familiarity with order entry and work orders.

    + Competency in using Excel for data management.

    + Experience in supply chain management.

    + Ability to expedite materials efficiently.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Preferred experience with ERP systems such as SAP, NS, QAD, JDE, or MES.

    + Diploma or GED required.
