    Job Title: Mobile Facilities Engineer

    Job Description

    The Mobile Facilities Engineer plays a crucial role in supporting the Assistant and/or Chief Engineer and Senior Facilities Manager. The Engineer ensures the maintenance, repair, and efficient operation of all building systems and equipment across assigned facilities. This position involves performing routine operations, inspections, maintenance, and repairs on HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure optimal efficiency and longevity.

    Responsibilities

    + Support the day-to-day maintenance and operational needs of building systems, including HVAC, boilers, heating, refrigeration, water, plumbing, and energy systems, to maintain peak performance.

    + Conduct timely and accurate inspections, diagnostics, and repairs of facility equipment, minimizing downtime and ensuring energy-efficient operation.

    + Maintain detailed records of operational history to anticipate necessary repairs and optimize system functionality.

    + Perform inspections and repairs on property interiors and exteriors, including walls, flooring, installed fixtures, roofing systems, and lighting.

    Essential Skills

    + HVAC maintenance and repair

    + Plumbing systems expertise

    + Electrical systems knowledge

    + EPA certification

    + Preventive maintenance

    + Building and facilities maintenance

    + Mechanical and building automation skills

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Carpentry and drywall repair

    + Troubleshooting skills

    + Experience with compressors and cooling towers

    + EPA Universal certification

    + Knowledge of boilers and painting techniques

    Work Environment

     

    The role covers all positions within the DFW area and involves working alongside building engineers and staff. The schedule is typically from 7am to 4pm or 7am to 5pm, offering a structured workday within a supportive team setting.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irving, Texas. Schedule from 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm ( Monday-Friday)

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.37/hr.

    Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
