Job Title: Shipping and Inventory Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Shipping and Inventory Specialist to manage our inventory and ensure efficient product shipment. You will play a critical role in maintaining accurate records, organizing inventory, and utilizing technology to streamline operations.

Responsibilities

+ Stage products for shipment using SAP to input product information into the system.

+ Place products in racks, shelves, and bins while marking materials with proper bar codes.

+ Utilize RF scanners for inventory management and SAP for record maintenance and label printing.

+ Create Bills of Lading (BOL) and schedule pick-ups as needed.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in SAP software.

+ Experience in forklift operation.

+ Experience in shipping and receiving.

+ Inventory control and data entry skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Scheduling experience is preferred.

+ Chemical background is a plus.

Work Environment

The work environment is within a manufacturing company specializing in edible and food-grade inks. You will be on the production floor for the entire shift, utilizing a computer near the batch mixing areas. Steel-toed boots are required for safety. The role is on the 2nd shift from 2pm to 10:30pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Homewood, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
