Job Title: Industrial Electrician

Job Description

Join a dynamic team at a leading manufacturing plant specializing in insulation materials for commercial and residential properties. Our products are distributed through major suppliers, ensuring a steady demand and growth in the industry.

Responsibilities

+ Connect with the maintenance manager and electrician team daily at 7 AM for work and preventive maintenance orders.

+ Work primarily on conveyors, ovens, and slitters in a 24/7 operation environment.

+ Install and repair electrical circuits, systems, instrumentation, and equipment including motors, regulators, controllers, generators, and switches.

+ Inspect electrical equipment and machinery, diagnose faulty operations, determine corrective actions, and document repairs in the maintenance scheduling program.

+ Stay updated with the latest types of electrical control, motor AC/DC Drive, PLCs, HMIs, and industrial lighting equipment.

+ Configure, commission, troubleshoot, and start up AC/DC Drives, HMIs, PLCs, or DCS systems with minimal engineering assistance.

+ Document all electrical changes by updating plant drawings and notifying engineering, ensuring accurate labeling of wires and devices.

+ Assist lower class maintenance personnel with electrical symbols and check drawings for accuracy, ensuring electrical panels have up-to-date drawings.

Essential Skills

+ Strong troubleshooting experience in industrial electrical systems.

+ Proficiency in PLC maintenance, ladder logic, VFDs, and SAP ERP.

+ Experience with 24V and 4160V electrical systems.

+ Knowledge of NFP 70 E, ARC Flash Safety, conduit wiring, and CMMS.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with 480 voltage systems.

+ Familiarity with conveyor systems.

Work Environment

Work in a non-climate-controlled environment with three levels in the plant and tall outside values. Be comfortable with heights and adhere to safety protocols, including wearing steel-toe shoes and safety goggles. The first year schedule is Monday to Friday, 7 AM - 3:30 PM, with expected overtime.

The pay range for this position is $77875.00 - $77875.00/yr.
