    Job Title: Assembler

    Job Description

    Join a dynamic team that is a global leader in advanced insulation and building envelope solutions, specializing in manufacturing metal panels and panes for vents, skylights, and smoke vents. We are seeking a dedicated Assembler for our 1st shift to help construct high-quality products.

    Responsibilities

    + Prepare work by studying assembly instructions, drawing specifications, and parts lists; gather parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.

    + Examine components and connections for correct fit and ensure subassemblies or finished goods meet design and intended specifications.

    + Position parts and subassemblies using templates or by reading measurements.

    + Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures to assemble subassemblies and finished goods using individual components.

    + Conduct continuous quality inspections of all components, subassemblies, and finished goods to ensure all quality requirements and specifications are met.

    + Report errors and defects to the QC Inspector and production team immediately upon discovery and prevent defective products from being shipped to customers by stopping the assembly line until defects are corrected.

    + Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipate needed supplies; place and expedite orders for supplies; verify receipt of supplies.

    + Document actions by completing production and quality forms as required.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience.

    + Experience with hand and power tools.

    + Mechanical assembly skills.

    + Ability to perform shipping and receiving tasks.

    + Reliability and a good attitude.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in material handling and data entry.

    + General labor skills.

    + Inventory management.

     

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a non-climate controlled facility with hours from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Thursday. Utilize a variety of hand and power tools in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

    This is a Contract position based out of Terrell, Texas.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
